The main objective is to ensure that culture and cultural events, especially concerts of jazz and related genres, educational concerts and cultural exchange, are available throughout the island. It especially seeks to bring these events to public and open spaces that have not traditionally been used for cultural events, thus allowing wider access to culture for all residents of Fuerteventura and the other islands.
Our aim is to create a strong link between the residents of the Canary Islands and the cultural offer available on the islands. This is achieved by providing accessible and quality cultural events, with exchange and work by artists from different places and nationalities, which in turn encourages participation and interest in the cultural life of the community. In addition, it seeks to link entrepreneurs and the private sector with the cultural area of government and its stakeholders, thus fostering closer collaboration between all sectors involved in the cultural industry.
The aim is to strengthen and motivate the island’s cultural actors, including musicians and artists, to actively participate in the creation and production of cultural events. Local artistic creation is promoted and artists are encouraged to offer their works within the scope of the cultural industry. This not only enriches the cultural offer of the island, but also strengthens the cultural identity of the community.
Among other activities, through visual projections in the margins of the concerts, on the one hand, and micro-lectures and informative presentations on elements of biodiversity, traditions, crafts or arts of the rural areas of the Canary Islands, as a prelude to the concerts themselves, on the other hand, it is possible to spread ecological messages and present the local riches to a diverse audience of inhabitants and visitors.
